On Saturday, June 18th at 8:30 am, herbalist Isaac Vars will be leading an herb walk to explore the medicinal plants growing in the area. He will talk about both wild plants and a few plants that are grown locally, what they can be used for, and how to use them. He will discuss identification techniques, harvesting techniques, potential look a likes, and harvesting ethics.

The walk should go for about an hour

To attend, wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It will be an easy walk, but it will be a walk, so wear comfortable footwear.
