Join shaman Adhi Two Owls and herbalist Isaac Vars for a transformational weekend retreat on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain, where weaving becomes a sacred act of connection — to ourselves, to community, and to the living earth. Guided by the wisdom of Shamanic and indigenous traditions, we will honor the archetypes of the Grandmother Spider who weaves the dreams of the world into being, and the bees who build luminous lattices to nurture life and sweetness. Through story, craft, and ceremony, we will invite our personal ancestors and spirit guides to walk beside us, strengthening the strands of memory, purpose, and renewal.
Throughout the weekend, you will: Harvest and work with local herbs, crafting an herbal satchel infused with prayer and intention. Weave a personal spirit net, a tool for catching dreams, visions, and guidance. Create a sacred shaker, an instrument to call forth and celebrate spirit. Journey and meditate into the depths of Lake Champlain, seeking wisdom from the ancient waters. Hike and honor the land, finding the hidden threads of your essence ready to be rewoven. Tend a sacred fire, keeping the spirit of community and intention burning throughout our days and nights.
Share laughter, creativity, and ceremony, weaving magic, mirth, and deep meaning together. We will be staying in rustic cabins surrounded by the changing beauty of the Vermont landscape. For those who would rather bring a tent and camp, there is also that option.
The setting offers the perfect space for reflection, creation, and connection under open skies and beside the elemental power of water and earth. This retreat is for anyone seeking to renew their creative spirit, deepen their relationship to nature, and strengthen the weaving of their personal path within the greater web of life. No prior experience with weaving or Shamanic work is necessary — only an open heart and a willingness to explore.
Spaces are limited to preserve the intimacy of the circle. Reserve your place in this sacred gathering and weave yourself back into the dreaming of the world.
The sort of spiritual work that we are looking to do here calls for a clear head and a presence of mind. We ask that participants refrain from substance use (including alcohol and other culturally embraced intoxicants) during this retreat.
