Downpayment for Divine Immersion and Reflection Retreat
September 28th - October 1st
Join shaman and teacher Adhi Two Owls and Isaac Vars of Deep Earth Arts for a long weekend on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Dive deep into the glacial energies and wisdom of Lake Champlain as you work with ceremony, connection, and community to deepen your relationship with the nature around you and your personal sense of creativity and wholeness.
This retreat will be an exploration of shamanic journey practice, connection with the nature surrounding us, transformation, and the creative process. We will be creating rattles, masks, and a foraged incense mix. We will be working with sound driven meditation (aka shamanic journeying) and ceremony, as we explore the local flora and fauna. There will be plant identification, mindful hiking, and community created food.
This retreat begins mid day on Thursday, September 28th and ends on Sunday, October 1st.
Participants will be staying in rustic cabins in bunkbeds. These cabins will be co-ed, 6 persons per cabin. You can also bring a tent and set it up for camping, if you prefer.
Food is included in the retreat cost. Participants will receive an email asking about dietary restrictions, once signed up.
Experience in journey meditation work is helpful, but not necessary. There will be hiking involved, though nothing incredibly strenuous. Participants should be able to comfortably walk a mile.
The entire retreat’s cost is $775. We are asking for a $200 deposit, which will be non refundable, unless there is someone who is able to take your spot. The rest of the retreat fee must be paid in full by the end of August.
The sort of spiritual work that we are looking to do here calls for a clear head and a presence of mind. We ask that participants refrain from substance use (including alcohol and other culturally embraced intoxicants) during this retreat.
