Welcome to the Cupid Connection!

At Deep Earth Arts, we are rooted in connection to self, to community, and to one another. We believe that love, companionship, and real-world human connection are sacred parts of the human journey, and that’s why this Valentine’s Weekend, we are creating a space where singles can meet face-to-face in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.

Speed dating is a structured, time-efficient way to meet a variety of people in a single experience. Instead of scrolling, swiping, or messaging, you get to sit across from a real person and actually talk. You get tone, presence, humor, warmth, and energy, all the things that are hard to capture online.

Whether you are stepping back into dating after a break, curious about in-person connection, or simply ready to expand your social world, the Cupid Connection is designed to feel welcoming, respectful, and human.

How It Works

Each two-hour block includes:

• A brief welcome and orientation
• Ten eight-minute mini dates, one-on-one conversations with different people
• A clear signal when it is time to rotate to the next person
• A confidential match card where you indicate who you would like to connect with again

Both days follow the same structure. Saturday is designed for straight singles seeking opposite sex connections. Sunday is designed for gay singles seeking same sex connections. Hosting the days separately helps keep the experience relaxed, aligned, and comfortable for everyone.

Session times on both days are:

Age Groups, Approximate and Flexible

To support connections between people at similar life stages, each session is grouped by approximate age range:

• 24 to 34
• 35 to 47
• 48 to 60

These ranges are meant as helpful guidelines, not strict rules. If you feel drawn to a different age block than your own, you are welcome to register for it. We simply ask that you understand that dating outside your own age bracket may create additional differences in life stage, priorities, or cultural references, which could be a potential roadblock to connection for some people. That said, chemistry is unpredictable, and we trust you to choose what feels right for you.

Deep Earth Arts is a spiritual center, and that spirit of kindness, presence, and mindfulness carries into this event. You do not have to be spiritual to attend. You simply have to be open to meeting people with respect and curiosity.

How Matches Work

At the end of your session, you will submit your confidential match card. You will indicate which people you would like to reconnect with.

Two days after the event, we will email you with any mutual matches. A mutual match means that both people selected each other. Only mutual matches will be shared, and only with the people involved.

If you do not receive any matches, that simply means there was no mutual selection. There is no public rejection, no awkward moments, and no pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is speed dating?

Speed dating is a series of short, structured one-on-one conversations with other singles. Each mini date is long enough to get a sense of chemistry, but brief enough to keep things light and energizing. By the end of your session, you will have met 10 people in 2 hours.

Why are the sessions separated by orientation?

We are hosting Saturday for straight singles and Sunday for gay singles so that everyone in each room is looking for the same type of connection. This helps create clarity, ease, and comfort for participants.

Can you participate in multiple rounds?

Absolutely! If you want to participate in the 24-34 age range for the 10 am - Noon time slot, for example, and then come back for another in the afternoon, you absolutely can. This just means you’ll purchase a ticket for each round you participate in.

Why are there age groups?

Age groupings help keep the experience comfortable and relevant. People in similar life stages often share more in common socially, emotionally, and culturally. Our ranges are approximate so there is room for flexibility while still maintaining a sense of balance.

How long are the dates?

Each mini date is eight minutes long. A gentle signal will let you know when it is time to rotate to the next person.

What should I wear?

Wear something that makes you feel confident and like yourself. Smart casual is a great guideline, but personal style is always welcome.

Who can attend?

Anyone who fits the session’s age range and orientation for that day is welcome to register.

Are refunds available?

All sales are final. Tickets are sold as entertainment experiences and are non-refundable. If you have questions about which session to choose before purchasing, we are happy to help.

Is this a safe and respectful space?

Yes. Deep Earth Arts holds a culture of kindness, consent, and respect. Participants are expected to treat one another with courtesy and consideration. Hosts will be present throughout the event to keep things running smoothly.

What if I do not receive any matches?

That is completely okay. Speed dating is as much about meeting new people, practicing real conversation, and stepping outside your comfort zone as it is about finding a romantic match. Many people attend simply for the experience.

Deep Earth Arts believes that connection is part of spiritual well-being. In a time when so much interaction happens through screens, we wanted to create an opportunity for embodied, real-world presence. • Deep Earth Arts is not responsible for incorrect email addresses, missed emails, or participants who do not follow up after matches are shared.

Privacy and Contact Information

• Your personal contact information will only be shared with mutual matches.

• Your information will not be distributed publicly or used for matchmaking beyond this event without your consent.

• By participating, you consent to being contacted by mutual matches through the contact details you provide.

Conduct and Community Standards

Participants agree to:

• Treat all attendees, staff, and hosts with respect, kindness, and courtesy.

• Honor personal boundaries and consent at all times.

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, unwanted physical contact, or inappropriate behavior.

• Avoid pressuring anyone for personal information or contact outside the matching process.

Deep Earth Arts reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, or unsafe, without refund.

Alcohol and Personal Responsibility

• A cash bar will be available.

• Participants are responsible for their own alcohol consumption and conduct.

• Deep Earth Arts is not responsible for impaired judgment or interactions resulting from alcohol use.

Liability and Assumption of Risk

By attending, you acknowledge that:

• You are voluntarily participating in this social event.

• You assume all personal risk associated with attending, interacting with other participants, and traveling to and from the venue.

• Deep Earth Arts, its staff, volunteers, and the Littleton Elks Lodge are not responsible for personal injury, emotional distress, lost property, or interactions occurring during or after the event.

• Any relationships, communications, or meetings that occur outside of the event are solely the responsibility of the individuals involved.

Photography and Recording

• This is a private, in-person event.

• No photography, audio recording, or video recording of other participants is permitted without explicit consent.

• Deep Earth Arts reserves the right to take general event photographs that do not identify individuals, unless you opt out in advance.

Event Changes

• Deep Earth Arts reserves the right to adjust timing, seating arrangements, or facilitation as needed for the smooth operation of the event.

• In the unlikely event of cancellation due to weather, an emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified by email with options to reschedule or receive credit toward a future Deep Earth Arts event.
